Design to empower women
Women Who Tie Stories Into Cloth
Our work goes beyond design. We collaborate with women artisans to create sustainable livelihoods through traditional tie-dye techniques like Bandhani. Practiced within homes and community spaces across Rajasthan and Gujarat, this craft enables women to earn while remaining connected to their cultural heritage.
Since 2009, Sonica Sarna has been working closely with artisan communities to bring their craftsmanship to global markets ensuring fair opportunities, recognition, and consistent work for women artisans.
