In session 1 we will teach you how to work with design and technical constraints that come up when working with deadstock fabrics. We will cover trend methodology, guide you on how to overcome quality issues and how to create zero waste patterns and specs. In session 2 all attendees will receive free access to the design open house where designers can share their zero-waste design ideas with a panel of industry mentors for one-on-one feedback.

Sonica Sarna brings over two decades of expertise in apparel design and production and sustainability to this course that she has designed to help designers to create collections for the global marketplace using textile waste. Her hands on experience of working in the factory environment has helped her create the design, production and quality methodologies of zero waste design that she will share in this practical hands on masterclass.
