Ace&Jig X Projecthrive
For Spring Summer 2025, ace&jig has partnered with Projecthrive to create a capsule collection of crochet styles that employed 63 women for 2717.42 artisan workdays. This collaboration provided both economic opportunity and representation to these artisans with virtually no access to education and helped each of them provide for their families.

Crochet is handmade by female artisans who work from home in purdah. These orders are the only opportunity of income for these communities. Crochet is traditional to these communities, who create ornate pieces for their wedding trousseaus using this skill. Through Projecthrive initiative, Sonica Sarna has been capacity building and training these communities and connecting them with socially minded brands such as Ace&Jig since 2019.

Through the utilization of organic cotton rather than conventional cotton, we’ve reduced 2024.48 kg of CO2 emissions and removed 326.20 Kg of Fertilizers in the production of these garments. Also by working with a Fair Trade USA-certified factory, the brand is able to provide a 512.35 $ Fair Trade premium to workers and employ them for 1259.6 workdays.
Through this collaboration by replacing plastic bags with paper glassine bags, we have saved 710 plastic bags from landfills/ oceans and by using organic cotton we have saved 1,45,600 liters of water.
